BROWN-LEWIS, Sandra

Sandra Marcia Brown-Lewis, 46, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of Reginald Lewis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday (April 20, 2012). She was born on August 5, 1965 and was a resident of Bloomfield and Florida. Sandra attended Weaver High School and was employed at Hartford Hospital for 18 years. She loved playing dominos, spades, casino, backgammon and PS3 games. In addition to her husband she leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Joyce Gordon; her father, Donald Brown; her sisters, Rosalee McDaniel, Deloris Burke, D'Angelice and Tamyka Brown; her brothers, Leroy Douglas, Alfred Douglas, Donald Burke, Winston Brown and Richard Brown. She also leaves her lovely and devoted daughter, Marcia Brown; stepdaughter, Diamond Lewis; her handsome and loving son Peter Brown; stepson, Reginald Lewis, Jr.; son-in-law, Jay Watkins; and her granddaughter, princess Jayda Watkins, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
