I just found out a few days ago about Sean....I am so sad to hear this...my sympathy goes out to all his family...the last time I saw Sean I was just so happy, I had not seen him in quite a while....though I only knew him for a short time I had the opportunity to give him a big hug and tell him how much he meant to me when I see and talk to him, such a smart and interesting man...he is a wonderful person who will be truly missed!

So sad to hear of Sean's passing. Oh, what fun we had in one of his favorite treasure-finding locations. I'd find something I thought he'd like - he'd examine it and then either put his seal of approval on it by embracing it-or- he'd call it a piece of junk and toss it back. Definitely nothing shy about him. Sometimes he'd show me something and I would think it was a piece of junk but he just saw the beauty in its oldness and history. Occasionally, if he'd come across something that reminded him of his travels, he'd tell me an interesting story and then urge me to travel the world, too. Life won't be the same without Sean around. He was a character - and I mean that in the most endearing way. My prayers are with you, his family. May God bless. See you in heaven, Sean.

All of us in the world of antiques are characters, but Sean made the rest of us look bland in comparison! He was a big personality with overwhelming enthusiasm for the old, the odd, the beautiful, and the beautiful uglies- both the objects and his many friends. My condolences to the family and to the rest of us "junkers" whose lives he enlivened. He will be missed!
