Shirley Maybell Stulpin

1929 - 2024

Shirley Maybelle (Morell) Stulpin, 94, of Granby, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital on January 5, 2024. Born in West Suffield on September 8, 1929, the daughter of the late George W. Morell and Clara (Miller) Morell. She attended Suffield schools and was a 1946 graduate of Suffield High School. Shirley was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her greatest joy was raising her seven children. She and her husband of 49 years ran a family farm on their property on Barndoor Hills Road in Granby for many years. They were longtime members of the Granby Grange. Shirley is survived by her children, Edward Stulpin of New Britain, Vincenty Stulpin of Granby, Stephen Stulpin of East Hartford, Barry D. Stulpin of East Granby, Stanley Stulpin, Jr. of East Hartford, Shirley Ciarcia and her husband Santos of Florida and Heidi Millbury and her husband Richard of Lebanon and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Stanley Stulpin, her daughter Charlene Stulpin, her son Kevin Stulpin, her brother Earl Morell, her sisters, Marion Garver, Katherine Martin and Frances McKnight. Shirley's family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 10AM-11AM at Hayes-Huling Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook Street, Granby, CT 06035.
