There are no words of comfort to offer in your time of profound loss. Just know that you are in my prayers and that God will supply you with the strength to endure the sadness and emptiness that you are left to live with. May your pain be overshadowed with happy memories of all the great times you shared and may you be a comfort to one another.

Simon Konover was a really all around great individual. He did so much for so many. I remember he took the time to talk about towns in Poland that my grandparents came from. He knew all about the town and the people who lived there. I feel honored to have known Simon as I'm sure many others feel the same. This world would be a better place if we had more Simon Konover's in it.

Hi Doris, Jane and Family,
I will always be grateful tor Simon for hiring me at SIKON Corp during the summers so I could help pay for college.
He was such a great and decent man and someone whom I have tried to emulate over the decades.
I also fondly remember that Simon always made my grandmother, Fannie Levine, laugh because he would tell her risque jokes in Yiddish.
May Simon's name be remembered as a blessing.
Take care.

To Mr. Konover's Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy and best wishes at his passing. My mother, Shirley Nemecek, was a realtor in Middletown who conducted business with Mr. Konover. I was 9 or 10, and, at that time, there were no answering machines, voicemail, cellphones, beepers, emails, scanners or faxes, etc.
Business communication was handled verbally (yes, human to human) and in person. When Mom was out, I had to answer the phone and take messages for her. Mr. Konover never once hesitated talking to me and never, ever dumbed-down any messages. Talk about respect and kindness even for a little girl!
In fact, Mr. Konover said several times that he wished I was older so that he could employ me. Such a sweet, wonderful guy...
Mom and I never forgot Mr. Konover and Michael who I think was at Wesleyan during this period. I will continue to remember him fondly. I hope that my fond remembrance will help to ease your pain.
I wish you peace as you find your way through this new life without Mr. Konover. He left this world a much better place and richly deserves being reunited with his family that was ripped away from him so very long ago.
