GRABOWSKI, Stanley F. Stanley F. Grabowski, 89, widower of Helen (Olender) Grabowski, died on Tuesday (February 8, 2005). Mr. Grabowski was born in Plainville on February 7, 1916 and was a son of the late Frank and Victoria (Duwvik) Grabowski. He was a resident of Connecticut all his life and owned and operated Stanley Plating Co., which he founded in 1945, until retiring in 1980. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans. He was past president of the American Electroplater's Association, and a member of the Bristol Elk's Lodge #1010, and St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. Mr. Grabowski is survived by survived by a daughter, Janet Carrano of Burlington; two sons, David Grabowski of Speedwell, TN, and Ronald Grabowski of Burlington; two brothers, John Grabowski of Southington, and Charles Grabowski of Berlin; two sisters, Katherine Godlewski and Julia Lipnicki, both of New Britain; a special friend, Vernette Landers; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, at 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
