Steve was a wonderful, gentle soul. He lived to take care of those dear to him. He was fiercely loyal and loving. So many times he stepped in to rescue me with supportive counsel, encouragement, honest opinions. I look around me and miss my brother every day.

Watching the US Tennis Open, playing tennis with my son, and passing by tennis courts remind me of Steve every day. I smile at the many matches we had, fiercely competing but rarely being able to beat the master! The best part was hearing that great infectious laugh. Always in my thoughts.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of Steve. He was the dearest and best friend for the last fifty five years of my husband Michael Green.
They always kept in touch with each other and talked about sports, politics, business, inventions and had so much in common. They were more like brothers than best friends. It's very difficult for Mike not to be able to pick up the phone and call him anymore.
Mike always admired Steve for his honesty and integrity and how he always managed to strike up a conversation with people no matter where he was. He was a very likable human being.
He was such a giving person who was always there for anyone who needed help.
We were also blessed to have Steve as our "Best Man" at our wedding.
He will be dearly missed by so many people who loved and admired him.
Steve, May Your Soul Rest In Heavenly Peace Until We Meet Again.
Sincere and Deepest Condolences To His Loving Family.

Shelley and Family,
We have just read of Steve's passing and our hearts are absolutely broken. He was such a good friend; tennis partner, groomsman, real estate agent extraordinaire, emergency babysitter for our triplets, and lifelong friend. The treasured memories of his gentle, kind and loving ways will be forever in our hearts.

Steve was a good friend in high school (Hall High, W. Hartford). Great tennis player. Sat behind me in homeroom class. Alphabetically we were the last: Zeller, Zwillinger. But not last in our hearts.
