Steven M. Karlowicz II, 30 of Ellington, CT was raised up to heaven by Angels on April 1, 2015. Born in Hartford on August 27, 1984 he is survived by his mother Karyn Maviano, his grandparents Roland & Paula Nielsen, his Uncles and Aunts Ron & Carolyn Nielsen, Rene & Darlene Nielsen his cousins, Kevin, Keith, Allison & Eddie along with his best friend Cali, aka Spike. Steven was an amazing son. Steven had a zest for life. He loved the outdoors including biking and snowmobiling along with many other outdoor activities with his family and friends. Family and friends of his mother are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, April 11, 2015 Calling hours are 11-1pm followed by a brief service at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home 551 Talcottville Road Vernon, CT 06066. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to USO.

It's always sad to lose a young-an, As an elder, you feel not only sad, but also angry that your youngster passed before you. Anger is part of the greiving process.
