Calling Steve a friend dosn't come close to what I considered him, he was family. I knew Steve for twenty five years, through good times and bad. Many dinners, breakfasts, road trips, movie nights, coffee runs, walks, phone calls and funny text messages filled those years. His advice and funny personality were gifts he gave me that I will always cherish. I know he is with his dog, Linus, and they are hiking through the clouds with a frisbee in hand. He will never be replaced in my heart. I will live with an emptiness that can only be filled with the memories Steve gave me.

Oh, Steve...what can I say? I´m going to miss your smile, your humor...just missing you. The world is a little smaller and colder without your warmth. We didn´t keep in touch as much as I would have liked, and that saddens me the most. Goodbye Super Steve. Give my love to Phil and Lynn.

So saddened to hear the news. Just his presence would brighten any room he walked into. During my moms most difficult times he was there to bring a smile to her face. Grateful for the friendship they had and I hope they´re sharing laughs again like they used to.

We were friends from work - I met Steve working on a Saturday, of course, and we talked about our dogs. He was so funny and kind and generous - and did I say funny? We would call each other on holidays, because he always remembered to wish you a good one - and the moments you spent with him made the holiday right. Like maybe you were a little lonely, even amidst your family, and there he was. A fighter, not a complainer. Did I say funny? I had to try to remember his last name because he is in my phone as "Super Steve". Guess that sums it up. Guess he will be able to visit Lynn and Phil. I will watch for him. Ciao.
