Dear Grandma Sue,
I love you so much and miss you a ton!!! I wish you were here because you would be so proud of everyone(though i'm sure you are watching us up in heaven)! I've been making high honors in school and made it into the talent show, sofie is just sofie(as smart, cool, and annoying as ever), Grandpa survived a heart attack(and living at daddy's house for a long time), Sean made semifinals in wrestling, Victoria made the travel soccer team, and daddy is engaged to a beautiful, kind, funny, smart woman named Amy and she has three beautiful girls, Olivia, Emma, and Kate, that are the cutest things, I just love them so much. Daddy has also been losing weight, fifteen pounds in just a couple weeks!!!!!, and just sold his house today(sale pending)!!!! I love you so much and i missed you at Christmas.
I love you,
Julia

Dear Walter and families,
This world has lost someone very special. Sue was such a personable, likeable woman it’s no surprise the past few difficult weeks have been filled with an overwhelming wealth of love and support from family and friends. Inside she was truly a good wife, a proud mother and a happy, beaming grandmother. Sue was fun to be with. She will be deeply missed. She fought so hard and inspired us all with her courage. We grieve with you.
Our love,

Dolly & Gil Mauriello

We will treasure the memories of our times at Odetah -- the campfires, our walks, the pictures of your beautiful grandchildren. We often talk of our "spaghetti bolognese" lunch in Venice - we have such good memories of that trip. It is difficult to lose such a good friend. Our deepest sympathy to Walt, your children, and grandchildren.

I was so saddened to hear of Sue's passing. Sue was a year ahead of me in x-ray school at Hartford Hospital and then we worked together at Connecticut Valley State Hospital. I have so many good and funny memories of Sue. We did manage to stay in touch although my husband was a marine for 30 years. Every time I came back to Connecticut to visit I would try and get together with Sue.I am going to try and post a picture of Sue, Carol Johnson and myself! My heartfelt sympathy to you Walt and to your boys. Fondly, Jayne Fisher

Aunt Sue and Uncle Walt,
You are a part of my history, part of the loving memories which help to shape the person I am today. I felt honored to have you at our wedding, and through Mom, have kept you all in my heart. I miss the feeling that Aunt Sue is just a phone call away, and will always be grateful for the memories I carry with me. Thank you for sharing your lives with us, thank you for sharing your strength, wisdom and humor with us all. Your children and grandchildren are your legacy to the world....you have left your mark, and the world is a better place for it. You will not be forgotten, Sue, and even though I feel a loss with your passing, I am grateful for the time and memories I can keep with me always.

Sue and I were brought together by our children. Once that happened we became dearest friends. I will always keep a place in my heart for her and memories I cannot forget because now our grandchildren will always keep her memory alive each and every day. I want her family to know their mother was one of the few people I know that showed me and others what courage, determination and a will to live is all about. I was very blessed to be a part of her life and her family. You will always be thought of and you will always be a part of me.

Sue was and also will be an extremely special person to us. She was a very big part of every aspect in our lives and our childrens lives and touched us in so many ways. We shared holidays, dance recitals, laughs, cries and everything else in between. The day after Thanksgiving me, Andrea, Sue and our mom would be those crazy people to head out first thing in the morning to shop. We would stop for lunch and Andrea & I would have to sit through Sue and our mom having lunch. It must take them an hour to eat their sandwich, we would be done in 10 minutes and Andrea and I would always look at each other, laugh and tell them to get a move on. That memory will always make me laugh and the day after Thanksgiving will never be the same. She will be thought of and missed forever. We love all of you with all our hearts and we are truly sorry for your loss.
We love you Sue !

I will always keep you in my heart until the day will meet again. Thank you for always being there for me and my family. I hope I can be half the mother to Victoria and Sean that you were to your three wonderful boys. I can see you in heaven now a martini in one hand and a telephone in the other. To my second mother - You were a guiding light during a tough time for this young kid. No matter how crazy we must have driven you when we tore up the lawn with our bikes, or my personal favorite activity, sliding down the stairs on mattresses out the front door, you always greeted us with a smile. Your front door was literally "always" open. I will miss you terribly and cherish our last visit. You will always be in my heart. Love Jimmy

Susan baldyga !!!! she was the greatest mom any one could have . she and my dad gave me as my friends say the lassie dog lifestyle.which means we had the big white house in the woods, the collie dog, and everything that goes with it . the opportunity to go off into the woods and explore rock climbing finding micha . playing in the fields and caves around the house. trips. to cape cod, maine, hammonasset, sleepovers of 8-10 kids at a time . we had a pool and lots and lots a great memories. My mom taught me a lot about respecting others . she shaped me into the man I have become and I thank her and love her dearly for all the things she has taught me and shared with me … I will love her always in my heart and in my soul.
