ASH, Susie (Minnifield) N. Susie M. Norwood Ash, 93, of Hartford died Wednesday, (April 12, 2006) at home. She was born March 29, 1913 in Selma, AL and was a resident of Hartford for over 15 years. In her passing she leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Gladys Acoff, Lucy Mauldin, Willie Mae Weatherington, Mattie Knowling (Roy), Helen Norwood; a son, Willie Lee Norwood (Ida Mae); 22 grandchildren; 24 great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Clark, Bell & Bell Funeral Home, 319 Barbour Street, Hartford with visitations from 10 a.m. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Hartford.
