Suzy S. Ribeiro Rynaski

Suzy S. Ribeiro Rynaski, 47, of Windsor, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. Born in Hartford, daughter of Henrique and Graziela (Silva) Ribeiro of Windsor, she was raised here graduating from St. Gabriel's School and South Catholic High School. She attended UCONN and had been an EMT for Windsor EMS and was a Past President of the Windsor Volunteer Ambulance. She was employed as a dispatcher for the original Professional Ambulance, the Bradley Field Ambulance and AMR Ambulance. She was a former firefighter for the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. Suzy was a volunteer at heart and would take any opportunity to help others even while struggling with Lupus for many years. She had also been a Girl Scout leader for her daughter Isabela Tatiana Rynaski. Besides her parents and daughter all of Windsor, she leaves her sister Ana Cristina Santos and her husband Ed of Windsor; and a nephew Alexander Santos; and two nieces Ashley and Amanda Santos; and aunts, uncles, and cousins both in Connecticut and Portugal. Her family will receive friends Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. Family and friends may gather Friday, February 10, 2017, 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Gabriel's Church, 379 Broad Street, Windsor.
