Terry L. Morgan

1939 - 2014

Terry L. Morgan, age 75, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 in Sebring, FL after a lingering illness. He was born on Jan. 19, 1939, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Eldon and Mildred (Wright) Morgan. He graduated from Bethesda High School in Ohio in 1957. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957-1963. Terry had been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 2003, a summer resident of Hebron, CT, and earlier from Vermont. Terry was employed by Pratt & Whitney and Foundries in CT and VT. His greatest enjoyment was traveling with Kathryn and their RV before settling down in Florida. He loved playing horseshoes, golf, football, working on & showing antique cars, and most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Kathryn Morgan, son: Michael Morgan and his wife, Deborah of Colchester, and daughter: Karen Blakely of Barre, VT. He is also survived by five special grandchildren whom he loved spending time with, and was so proud of: Ashley and Brett Morgan, Cortney, Justin and Jared Blakely, also numerous extended family, including nieces and nephews in Michigan and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Morgan. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16th beginning at 6 PM with a calling hour and a Chapel Service at 7 PM at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester.
