O'REILLY, Theda G. Theda G. O'Reilly, 87, of Manchester, passed away peacefully Tuesday, (June 20, 2006) surrounded by her loving family. Theda was born on December 19, 1918, to Alexander and Sophie (Werner) Mikolowsky in Tariffville. She was predeceased by her husband James J. O'Reilly, Jr. She will be remembered most for her strength, and the love and devotion she had for her children and grandchildren. In addition to raising her five children, she was also employed by G. Fox & Co., Travelers Insurance Co., and Conning & Co. in Hartford. Theda lived most of her life in Manchester, graduating from Manchester High School. She was a member of the Holy Family Mother's Circle and a communicant of St. Bridget Church in Manchester. She is survived by her three daughters: Maureen O'Reilly of East Hartford, Kathleen O'Reilly and Eileen O'Reilly, both of Manchester; her two sons, James O'Reilly and his wife Catherine and Michael O'Reilly and his wife Rhonda, all of Manchester. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Joseph, Stephen, Kevin, Laura, and Caitlin. In addition, Theda leaves five brothers and sisters: Anastasia (Nellie) Dwyer, Irene Abraitis, Edmund Mikolowsky, Daniel Mikolowsky and Carl Mikolowsky and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23, at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, Main St., Manchester, followed by internment in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bridget School, 74 Main St., Manchester, CT 06042.

I'm so sorry to here of your Mom's passing... She was a terrific person and a great neighbor, she will be missed... I'll be out of town and will not be able to attend the services...
