Theodore Hall Obituary

Theodore A. Hall, 94, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. He was the loving husband of Evelyn (Manierre) Hall for sixty-six years until her passing in July 2015. A native of Ithaca, NY, Ted was a graduate of Cornell University's engineering school with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. From 1944 until his retirement, Ted was a Key Design Project engineer with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Corporation. Being active in the Cromwell Historical Society and his many challenging years with the Cromwell Senior Citizens were most memorable. Ted leaves his niece and Evelyn's remaining family and a longtime friend, Lud Coiro. A private burial will be held in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Cromwell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

When I was in the Cromwell Post Office, I would discuss stamp collecting with Ted. He was a fine gentleman.

So sorry to hear today that Uncle Ted has passed. Our prayers go out to him and Aunt Evelyn. At least they are now together again.

Ted, as he liked me to call him was a gentleman who loved to tell a story. I met Ted and his lovely wife while I was his newspaper carrier. Rest in peace Ted and Evelyn, I'll always have sweet memories of you both.

Sincerely, Candy D'Amato
