Theresa E. Emery

Theresa Evelyn (Guyer) Emery, 88, of Oxford, FL passed away on November 14. She was born one of 8 children in Laconia, New Hampshire on May 23, 1930. Theresa was a gifted singer and performer who was the star of many Community Theater productions in the 60's and 70's in Connecticut. Theresa continued to share her love of music and dance in the Florida communities where she lived. Theresa is survived by her devoted husband Alfred, and sister Anita Styring. Her four children, Kathleen Farmer of Ashburn, VA, Kathryn Boe of The Villages, FL, Michael Emery of Avon, CT and Laurette Wice of Cromwell, CT. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, Lisa, Brian, Scott, Craig, Brett, Reid, Matthew and Rachel, and 6 Great grandchildren, Tytus, Lukas, Mitchell, Hank, James and Holly. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 28 at 10:00am at St. Theresa's in Belleview, FL, followed by a burial service at 1:00pm at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Special Olympics of Connecticut.
