Theresa A. (DiBella) May, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Nicholas S. May, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 23, 2022 at the age of 95. Born in Hartford Connecticut on February 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frances (D'Alessio) DiBella and Michael DiBella. Theresa was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield. She was a kind, caring, loving person who welcomed everyone into her home and always made room at the table for one more. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Theresa was predeceased by her son, Nicholas S. May Jr as well as her son-in-law Paul DeJohn. She is survived by her children, Patricia Havens and Ann Marie DeJohn of Wethersfield, daughter-in-law, Cecile May of Rocky Hill, James May (Ari Marcus) of NYC and Raymond May (Cathy) of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Theresa was one of eight children and was predeceased by brothers, Andrew DiBella and his spouse Mary, Angelo DiBella and his spouse Josephine, Dominic DiBella and his spouse Beatrice, Joseph DiBella and Christopher DiBella as well as mother-in-law and father in-law Rose and Stanton May, sister in-law and brother-in-law Joan and Raymond Francis and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stanton Albert May and Audree. She leaves behind her sister Ann Roark and her brother and sister-in-law Cornelius and Lucille Di Bella; as well as her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara May. Theresa also leaves behind her grandchildren Kristen Havens, Paul DeJohn, Michele DeJohn, Gregory Havens, Nicholas S May III, Thomas May Hanalee May, Sydney and Madison Daggett as well as great grandchildren Nicholas May, Juliet May, Charlotte DeJohn, Thomas May, Cooper DeJohn and Violet May. The family will receive relatives and friends, Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT with a Service to follow at 11:00am.
