Thomas DiVicino Obituary

Thomas George DiVicino of Southington, formerly of Meriden, passed away April 11, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1933 to the late George and Carmella DiVicino. He graduated from Meriden High School and the University of Connecticut School of Agriculture. For many years he worked at Davis and Sons Florist family business in Meriden, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. When the business sold, he transitioned to the field of construction, again following in the footsteps of relatives. During those years in construction, he worked alongside his two favorite nephews, Joe and Peter DiVicino. To this day Joe will relate amusing stories of their times together on the job. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Caren DiVicino, a brother Ronald DiVicino and his partner Lynn Horne of West Hartford, his sister Antoinette (DiVicino) Baer of South Windsor, along with several nephews and nieces. Tom was a gentle soul; he will be missed. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
