Thomas R. GUITARD Sr.

GUITARD, Thomas R. Sr. Thomas R. Guitard, Sr., 85, of Glastonbury the beloved husband of Erma (Landry) Guitard died Thursday (October 27, 2010) at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Brunswick, Canada the son of the late Raymond and Olive (Chambers) Guitard he lived in Glastonbury for 47 years. He was a retired employee of Peerless Woodworking where had worked for 35years. Besides his wife Erma, Tom is survived by five children, Sharon and Herb Cswertek of Woodstock, Susan and Eugene Halsted of Manchester, Mary Neilson and Rick Chevers of East Hampton, Pamela Guitard of Glastonbury, Thomas R. and Brook Guitard, Jr., of Middletown, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers Clarence and Philip Guitard, five sisters Lorraine Metivier, Phyllis Rhodes, Janet McGarvey, Hazel Wilson, and Ella Goden. Funeral service will be Saturday (October 30, 2010) 9:15 from the Mulryan Funeral Home 725 Hebron Ave. Glastonbury with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Church Glastonbury. Burial will be the following Saturday (November 6, 2010) at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
