Veronica Catalano Obituary
CATALANO, Veronica(Mieczkowski) Veronica (Mieczkowski) Catalano, 96, of Newington died on Saturday (March 26, 2005). She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Grazulavich and Joseph Catalano. Born in New Britain, she lived there for most of her life before moving to Newington in 1973. In 1970 she retired from American Hardware (Emhart) after 46 years of employment and was a member of St. Andrew's Church, New Britain. She leaves several nieces and nephews, including Peter A. Lipetz and Roberta Lipetz, both of Newington. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:15 a.m. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Newington Memorial.
