When at St Ann in Marietta, GA we were friends for several years; male friends of similar age, not a ministerial relationship. We addressed each other without titles. He was Vic. I was Tony. Vic took an interest in my collection of antique clocks which may have started his interest. We took several day trips together looking for clocks in various places, I recall he purchased one or two. He also gave us a cat...a really rotten cat with no warranty which we quickly returned advising him to not give it to anyone else. Vic was a good friend, humorous and kind hearted. He had a few obsessions, one being that he never saw a pizza he didn't like. And he couldn't pronounce "pizza" correctly. Always came out as "peetzer". Some 25 years passed before making contact again when he in a rehab facility the past spring. I called him. Without giving my name asked how many clocks he had. He recognized me immediately. Vic is a good memory which at my age (four years older than Vic) seems to be a growing list. I will miss knowing he is there.

Kind soul. Lover of music.
A ready ear and kind word.
I'll never listen to classical music without remembering him.
Condolences to his family and friends.
