BARTUCCA, Vincent "Bart" Vincent "Bart" Bartucca, 77, of South St., Bristol, passed away Thursday (December 2, 2004) at his home, he was the widower of Susan Isabel (Goodspeed) Bartucca. He was born in Bristol on November 6, 1927 the son of the late Frank and Anna (Ferro) Bartucca. He was a lifetime resident of Bristol and attended local schools. He worked at the Bristol Police Department for 28 years before he retired in 1986. After he retired from the police department he worked at Crowley Chevrolet for 15 years. Bart was a secretary for the Bristol Kiwanis Club and was very active in the Kiwanis fundraisers; he also was an avid volunteer at the Giamatti Little League and Salvation Army. He was a member of St. Anthony Church. He is survived by three loving children, Frank Bartucca of Columbia, SC, Vincent (Jim) and his wife Shirley (Neumann) Bartucca of Bristol, and Linda Bartucca of Chicago, IL; a brother Francis Bartucca of Terryville; and three sisters, Elizabeth Egliskis of Florida, Katherine Barbati of Farmington and Ann Pryor of Bristol; four grandchildren, Kim (Bartucca) and her husband, Larry Fazio of Burlington, Kevin and his wife, Michelle (Adkins) Bartucca of Bristol, Alison (Bartucca) and her husband, Todd Millagin of Charlotte, NC, and Scott Bartucca of Columbia, SC; four great grandchildren, Alexander and Tyler Bartucca, Avery Fazio and Jack Millagin; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial with will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Vinny was a great friend to me. I will miss his efficiency as secretary to the Kiwanis. Our sympathy goes to the whole Bartucca family. He will be missed by me everyday.
