SPERDUTI, Vinent J. "Vinny" Vincent J. "Vinny" Sperduti, 41, of Meriden, formerly of Plainville, beloved son of Joseph A. and Sonia (Mozelak) Sperduti of Plainville, died Sunday, (March 13, 2005). Vinny attended programs sponsored by the Plainville Association for Retarded Citizens for several years, and for many years enjoyed day services provided by the A.R.C. of Meriden-Wallingford. Vinny will always be remembered as a happy-go-lucky fellow who loved cards, singing, dancing, Scooby Doo, and celebrating Christmas every day of the year. He was loved and will be missed by his many friends, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special family, Mark, Brian, Scott, Rodney, Joey and staff at the Allen Avenue Group Home. Vinny's parents wish to thank everyone at Residential Management Services and A.R.C. of Meriden-Wallingford for making his life meaningful and happy. He was predeceased by his brother, Joey; his godfather, Peter Mozelak; grandparents, Peter and Olga Mozelak; uncle Michael; grandparents, Joseph and Assunta Sperduti and uncle John. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9 a.m. from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Terryville, for a liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Terryville. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home TODAY from 4-8 p.m. A Parastas service will be held TODAY at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Residential Management Services, 808 Four Rod Rd., Kensington, CT 06037 or the A.R.C. of Meriden-Wallingford, 224-226 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
