Walter Colbert Obituary

COLBERT, Walter T. Walter T. Colbert, 49, of Windham, NH died at home Tuesday (November 18, 2008). He grew up and was educated in Connecticut, graduating from Morgan High School in Clinton, in 1978. He received his BS in Business Management from Bentley College in 1982. He was predeceased by his father John C. Colbert. Survived by: wife Heather (Brown) Colbert of Windham, NH; daughters: Stephanie and Carolyn Colbert of Windham, NH; mother and stepfather: Shirley (Rutty) and Bernard Bowie of Hampstead, NH. Calling hours are Sun. from 3-7 p.m. at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass is Mon. at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH. dearest Shirley:
i am so saddened to hear of Walter's passing. I have so many happy memories of our childhood together....the trip to the 1964 World's Fair is one of my fondest. Although it has been many years, I still think of you often. Please be strong and may your family and friends help you during this time.

You will not be forgotten. We will miss you dearly. Heather and family, my deepest sympathies and love go out to you. I know you will be strong! Every September as we go apple picking, we will think of Walter and symbolize an apple in his honor. God Bless you all.
