Walter is my Grandpa, an idol and a hero to me. I will miss him dearly. As a boy I would watch my Grandpa build amazings things from a sketch on a napkin. I watched my Dad and my Grandpa build a barn in our back yard from the ground up and I thought what an amazing man. Grandpa has taught me countless lessons in life. All of them I remember and hold close to my heart and one day wish to be an amazing father, husband, artist, and grandfather just like Walter "Chalkie" Erismann. I love you more than you'll ever know. -Derek Erismann
