Walter Missel Jr.

MISSEL, Walter Jr. Walter Missel, Jr, 62 of Lake Wylie, SC, died Thursday (August 7, 2008). Mr. Missel was born November 4, 1945 in Santa Ana, CA to the late Alberta W. Missel and Walter Missel Sr., He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Walter was a retired union carpenter who was a member of Local 1107, Kenilworth, NJ, Local 43, Hartford and Local 312, Lexington, NC. Walter is survived by his wife Diane A. Missel, daughter Jennifer Missel of Eatontown, NJ, son Christopher Weitz of Ellington, father Walter Missel, Sr., of Tioga, PA, brother Rodney Missel, Tioga, PA, and two grandchildren Malcolm Missel-Grey and Ryan Weitz. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, August 11 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 4829 Charlotte, Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Charles Darden, Jr. officiating.
