RABBETT, Warren A. Warren A. Rabbett, 94, of West Hartford, beloved husband of 60 years to Elizabeth (Costello) Rabbett died Sunday, (January 29, 2006) at a local convalescent home. Born in Windsor Locks, to William Rabbett and Ruth (Ashley) Rabbett who died during childbirth, he was raised by William and Kathleen Rabbett, he had lived in the Elmwood section of West Hartford for many years. Mr. Rabbett was a communicant of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford and had served as a Minister of the Eucharist and a Sacristan of the church. He was a World War II U. S. Army Air Corp. veteran. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Kevin Rabbett of Maplewood, MN; a daughter, Ann Marie Rabbett of West Hartford and three grandchildren, Colin, Brianna and Brendan Rabbett. Funeral procession will be Thursday; 9:15 a.m. form the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Brigid Church Memorial Fund, 1088 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford 06110.
