William Bianchi Obituary

Bill, a native of Rocky Hill, Ct.,passed away Friday, September 9, at Ct. Hospice in Branford. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie (Craner) Bianchi, brother Richard, sister-in-law Nancy Karapin of Camillus, NY, and many cousins. He was a professional musician and percussion teacher, an actor in theater, as well as TV commercials, local and regional. He held a BA from CCSU, a certificate from the Ct. School of Broadcasting, and attended the Uta Hagen/Herbert Berghof Acting Studio in NYC. His greatest joy in music was hearing and playing "Big Band Jazz".(Buddy Rich was his idol.) Bill's record album "The Bill Bianchi Jazz Band, Sweet and Dirty" was critically well received, and is still available by request. ([email protected]). Calling hours will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Street. Rocky Hill, CT 06067 Thursday, September 15, from 11 A.M. to 12:00 PM, Service to follow at the funeral home at 12:00 PM.
