William LaPorte Obituary
William's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter Claver Church, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with William's family in the church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private. Memorial donations in William's name may be made to University of Hartford, Office of Institutional Advancement, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117 or Hartford Hospital, Department of Philanthropy, 80 Seymour Street, P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT 06102. The Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington is assisting with the arrangements. Oh, Justine & family, so very sorry for the loss of Bill for you and all who knew him. Last time we saw you two is still a beautiful memory and always will be to Ken & Sandy Mason & myself two Januarys ago, when we all enjoyed a beautiful brunch together at Avon Old Farms & Bill was the Jolly Ringleader of fun per usual! Blessings & deepest sympathy. I remember what it was like to lose my Bill, 29 years ago this November 13
