Dear Cindy,
So sorry to read of your dad's passing. I fondly recall both your parents as I too worship at The Universalist Church of West Hartford. Especially your Mother and I worked on committees together. My love and prayers are with you now.

Cyd, Dave and Meredith, That was a beautiful obituary. It spoke volumes about what an honorable, bright and dare I say 'gifted', man he was. We know you will miss him. You are a beautiful and dedicated family as evidenced by the graceful way he was allowed to exit this life. Our prayers are with you.

Let me wrap you in love, and give you ease from your sorrow. Yes, he went quickly, and you knew he was failing fast, but the end is always hard. I am glad he was not in pain or dementia. Let yourself not fall into anxiety over his affairs, even though it might be wrenching. You have Femrel for support, distant though some of us are

I too enjoyed what we earned of him through the stories you passed on to us on the list..

Love & energy, A. Marina Fournier

My heart goes out to you, Cyd, and your family. Although I never met your dad, I loved reading your stories about him that showed wonderful sense of humor he had. My deepest sympathies on your loss.

I still remember his voice even though I'd not seen him for years. Our family (Edie's) used to stop at the Melcher's for a night on their annual summer pilgrimage to Maine. ((Cyd and family))
