Mr. Peelle was one of my most favorite people while I was employed with the Hartford Golf Club. On my first day of work he asked to hit tennis balls with me and that began a regular routine of hittings each week for the next few years. Mr. Peelle would always ask me about my dad, who was also a tennis professional, and we would talk about the good ol' days of tennis in West Hartford.
I will always remember Mr. Peelle as a true gentleman and great sportsman and I feel honored to have known him and his family.
My deepest condolences to the entire Peelle family.
