Memories and Condolences
for Joseph Courcelle

Not sure what to say?

November 18, 2010

Bernie,
It is with a very heavy heart that I send my condolences to you and your family. I only found out about Joe's passing yesterday. I know that my words are of little or no comfort to you but the words are so true. Anyone who ever knew You and Joe knows that the two of you shared a very special love and mutual respect for each other. It was obvious and undenialable. Joe was a wonderful man who took pride in his family, you'll were #1. But Joe had a lot of knowledge
and a great love for life which he so generously shared with everyone. The lives that he touched are counteless and he will live on in each and every fond memory we have of him. One thing that I am sure of is that he is among many loved ones still today. All of the family and friends that have gone before him are welcoming a new angle amongst them. God Bless all of you through this very difficult time.

Mrs. Bernie, Jody, Angelle and Rachel, I want to express my deepest regards on the passing of Mr. Joe. Mr. Joe was a great husband and dad that love his kids as I remembered him very well. He had always had spare time for us kids on East Niagara Circle and shared ideas and dreams that meant so much to him as well as to each other. I remember when he first started wood carving and he took on the hardest project first that was craving a DUCK (I still laugh about still to this day). Like many hobbies that he may had his passions most of all was Fishing and Hunting. Mr. Joe may not be here anymore, but he is still a big part of our lives and forever will be. So, to Mr. Joe go catch a BIG BASS for us all in heaven. God Bless all of you… Jon Carlisle

It is very hard to say goodbye to my good friend Captain Joe. I know he would choose to be with his family now, whom he loved more than anything, but had to leave silently behind. They will miss him in grief but should remember to laugh and talk as if he were beside them, which he is. Love is indestructible. When you see a bird or hear a tune he liked, don't be sad. He is still alongside you, loving you as always. You were so good to him. He knows it was heaven here on earth with you. Wade Hanks
