Mrs. Netto was born on February 15, 1953 in Collins, Mississippi. Judy was a graduate of the Seminary Attendance Center Class of 1971. She held a lifelong love of art and literature and was a talented artist and eloquent writer. For many years, Judy painted during her younger adulthood. In recent years, she rekindled her love of painting and had plans to create an art studio in her new home.

She was a talented writer who could bring stories to life through her words. She loved taking creative writing classes at USM as an adult-learner and was always excited to share what she had learned and how she was applying it to her writing.

Judy's favorite pastime was whiling hours away over coffee with a friend or family member while discussing everything under the sun. She had an innate talent of making her guest feel comfortable and at ease while having discussions about life, love, and so many other topics. Over the years, the topics of discussions changed; however, her love for relating to others and sharing these times did not.

The most constant part of Judy's life was her deep love for her family and friends. Judy was a loving wife to the love of her life, Charlie. She was a caring mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. She was a beautiful aunt to so many and a faithful, loving sister to her brothers and sisters. Judy was a wonderful daughter that loved her parents with her whole heart. She was a faithful servant of God and she built a strong relationship with him over the years. Judy was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Milton McDaniel and Verdee Dona Graves McDaniel; one daughter, Amy McNeil; one brother, Billy McDaniel; and her niece, Carrigan Arban.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Netto of Moselle; two daughters, Jennifer Ogden, and her husband, Matt of Sumrall, and Johanna Bethell, and her husband, James of Seminary; one son, Jason W. McNeil, and his wife, Christine of Fort Mill, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Logan, Sarah, Lily, Luke, Sarah, Dawson, Keeley, Jake, and Amy; three sisters, Sandra Anglin and Janice Bryant, both of Collins, and Susan Deen of Seminary; two brothers, Larry McDaniel of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Terry McDaniel of Seminary; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
