Luke Taylor Obituary
Huntsville, AL
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Hulett-Winsted Sumrall Chapel for Mr. Luke E. Taylor, 83, of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Baton Rouge, LA.
He died Monday, November 7, 2011 in Huntsville, AL.
Burial will be in Military Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was a retired Merchant Marine, a member of The Well Church in Huntsville, AL, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Chandler Taylor; a brother, J.C. Bodden; father, Luke E. Taylor; mother and step-father, Amanda Dedon and H.H. Bodden.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Roberts and son-in-law, Rev. Dale C. Roberts both of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Mary Bodden Cockrell of Mobile, AL and Flo Boddin Babin of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Noah Ashleigh Roberts, Nathan Durham Roberts, and Jadon Taylor Roberts.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday at Hulett-Winstead Sumrall Chapel.
