I learned on line from a fraternity brother that Rick had passed away. My sincere sympathies to Rick's family. From my earliest memories of Rick, it was clear he was a leader and had a purpose in life. I am sorry to hear that his life was shorter than it should have been.

Candy, words cannot express how sad I am with Rick's passing. You may not remember me, but I was a freshman Kappa Sig when Rick was a senior at Southern. We met at Carnival this year. I am Lesli Granberry' boyfriend. I feel so blessed to see Rick again after 32 years. I had so much respect for him then and now, and know he was such a lucky man to have had you in his life. Hopefully I will have the chance to meet you again in the near future, and celebrate his life

To The Lambert Family,
It is difficult to express my sense of loss with Rick's death. Our friendship and conversations will last throughout time. He was a decent man, gifted attorney, public servant, family man and friend to many ..... Perhaps, his greatest contribution to our community was his bridge - building capacity among people.
Grief and loss are tough circumstances to withstand, but with prayer and positive thoughts - all of us will prevail. My best to the Lambert Family!

I was so shocked this morning to have a phone call from Mississippi telling me of Rick's untimely death. It just seems like yesterday I was his pastor and friend. I have great memories of Rick, and Diane and I extend our sympathy to the girls.
