Robert Ross Obituary
Hattiesburg, MS
Services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Ross, age 70, Hattiesburg, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Webster Memorial Park in Eupora, MS. Bob passed away on October 18, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Bob worked for State Farm Insurance for 35 years as a special investigator and also taught arson investigation for many years. Bob was a very loving family man and loved to play golf and spending time with his four legged children.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Scott) Addison of Hattiesburg; sons, Robert Ross Jr. of Hattiesburg and Shon Cuningham of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by his special friend, Mary Loughman of Hattiesburg; grandsons, Christopher Addison of Hattiesburg, Zachariah Ross and Samual Ross both of Lake Jackson, TX; brother, Louie "Sonny" Ross of Frisco, TX and his cousin and good friend, John Edgar Shaw of Kosciusko.
Visitation for Mr. Ross will be held from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Advocate under the Hub City Humane Society or to the Southern Pines Animal Shelter.
