Craig and I met as we, among others were some of the founding members of the Pipes and Drums of The California Professional Firefighters. Craig was a side drummer and a very good one.

Craig and the band had many meaningful days playing at LODD memorials throughout the State of California as well lots of real fun getting this band of ours off the ground.

There came a time when Craig made a decision to leave the band for both professional and personal reasons and I don't know if he ever really knew how much we missed him all of these years.

Craig, the band has always dreaded having to play for one of our own, a band member. It looks like that day has come and I want you to know that this weighs heavy on all of our hearts, your brother and sister band members. God speed friend and you will not be forgotten.
Todd.

Over mountains dawn morning light
emotions lighten, meadows turn bright.
In memory of the ones we love
treasured moments there plenty of.
Remembering shared times with affection
imparting to us comfort and direction.
Serious, solemn, humorous or kind
their qualities forever etched in mind.
That morning light will never fade
when held close memories made.

Craig and I were hired together by the Colton Fire Department back in 1983. We've vacationed together, studied together and promoted together. Craig's undying passion for the fire service shined through all aspects of his live. Craig touched many lives and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend...
