As a former teacher to one of Scott's daughters, Cheyanne, I can attest to the unfailing love and dedication he had to his family which also carried over to others. Even after I was no longer Cheyanne's teacher, Scott continued to reach out to me and never forgot a "Happy Mother's Day" or "Merry Christmas" text to me which meant the world to me. It was quite by coincidence that I learned of his passing (which I just found out yesterday), and I was more than totally shocked and heartbroken. Cheyanne: I need you to know that I am so sorry, and that I am here for you (as I always will be) should you need anything, even if that's just someone to listen to you. I love you! Savannah and Jamie: I express my deepest condolences to you both, and I pray that God grants you His peace and comfort at this very difficult time. Scott truly was an incredible man who will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May God comfort you, Scott, and hold you in His loving arms.

I met "Scott" when I was 18. My brother was working for him. My brother loved Tom and Scott so much and they loved him too. They always worried over Jason. I was detached for many years but my brother and I were able to visit with Scott at his restaurant in 2013. Scott came into my work, harbor freight, about 3 times in the past two years. I hugged him and we made plans for his family and mime to hang out together. Especially because he was so excited to see Jay. Unfortunately, it never happened. Best smile and heart of gold. He will be dearly missed.

Oh so many blessed memories of Scotty. It was 1991, first time at Scotty's Broasted Chicken and Ribs, and from then on a friendship that was like family. Even now that I moved to Missouri, was so blessed that we could text and talk. RIP Dear Scotty, in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Love, thoughts and prayers for family and friends of this Wonderful Guy.

I've been fortunate to have known Scott since he moved to Havasu and was living in an RV behind his restaurant trying to get it going.I leaned on him for advice on so many things over the years. I loved and respected him as much as anyone I've ever met ,and like so many people,my life will have a huge void in it without "The Chicken Man ." R.I.P. my good man.
