GORDON HAY Obituary

Gordon John Hay was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
He was born May 27, 1954 in San Gabriel, California. He grew up there with his two sisters, but ultimately his love for guns brought him to Arizona. He bought his first Arizona home in Lake Havasu City in 2003 and made it his full time residence shortly after.
In Lake Havasu, Gordon changed the world for many people. Those lucky enough to know him on a personal level, knew his big personality and let's say "quirky" sense of humor, was only outshone by his love and generosity. Gordon loved guns, enjoyed shooting, and gambling. But Gordon's true happiness came from helping those he called his friends.
Gordon is survived by his sisters Suzie O'toole and Laura Foster, seven nieces and nephews, and many of his close friends. Gordon is preceded in death by his father John Alexander Hay, mother Catherine Marie Hay and his dog "Sassie."
Family and friends will be privately celebrating Gordan's life. Anyone wishing to honor his memory may do so by donating to the Western Arizona Humane Society in his name.
