Sandra Dryden Obituary

Sandra (Sandy) Gail Dryden passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday October 3, 2021 in Lake Havasu City. Sandy was born October 26, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to Louis J. and Josephine Wells.
Sandy and her husband of 57 years, Glen, moved to Lake Havasu City in 1969 with their five children: Cary, Brian, Deanna, Renee, and Kelly. Sandy and Glen were very active in the Lake Havasu Boat and Ski Club. She enjoyed racing in the powderpuff class, of which she relished in several victories. She loved that the whole family participated in ski racing and boating, as well as other outdoor activities. Had you have participated in Polar Bear Day in the 70's and early 80's, you might well remember having a cup of her famous beef soup, a favorite by all! Those who came to visit on any Sunday morning were sure to be served her famous Biscuits and Gravy. She would call family and friends to come join as she couldn't make a small batch.
Those who knew Sandy know that she was a beautiful person, both inside and out. Her infectious smile exemplified the amazing and fun-loving woman that she was. She loved going on cruises with family and friends to various locations. You never had to ask her twice if she wanted to join you on a voyage. Sandy and Glen, having retired in November 2020, had plans to travel to see the sights of America, something they loved to do.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Glen, children Brian (Sandra), Deanna (Mac), Renee (Jaime), and Kelly, sisters Gina and Terry and brother Shane, along with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Cary, granddaughter Breanna, and brother Bennie.
Family meant everything to her, and she will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life is planned for January 8, 2022. More details to follow.
