Paul Brown Obituary

Paul Revere Brown, 93, of Hazard, passed away on Feb. 25, at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WWII and retired yard master for L&N Railroad.

He was the son of the late Ed Brown and the late Corise Davidson Stidham. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Sallie Jean Horne Brown; son-in-law, Richard Macdougall Farrell; one grandchild, Amber Taylor Brown; and one brother, James Brown.

He is survived by one daughter, Toni Brown Farrell; one son, Paul Cameron and Beverly Brown; two half brothers, Eddie and Pat Brown, and Jack Brown; four grandchildren, Dori Tess Hailu, Gabriel Paul Farrell, Joshua Cameron Brown, and Jenna Wade Brown; three great-grandchildren, Christian Blake Brown, Raena Sofia Hailu, and Faven Sybella Hailu; and a host of family and friends.

Arrangements were handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel, where family received friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, March 1, and funeral services followed directly after, with Karen Harvey officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 2, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, Ky.
