Pleasureville
Anna Margaret (Downey) Lyons passed away Jan. 27, 2024. She was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Shelbyville, the daughter of the late Tom Downey and Bertha (McQuire) Downey. Anna was a homemaker and a member of Cemetery Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons; Randall Lee Lyons (Janice) and Jerre Marwedell Lyons, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband; Samuel M. Lyons, two daughters; Linda Lyons and Edith R. Lyons, three sons; Larry Lyons, Jerry Lyons and Rex Allen Lyons and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Bro. Randell Lyons and Bro. Bill Stapleton officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
