Cherie Runkel Obituary
Cherie was born April 9, 1971 in Livingston, the daughter of Kerry and Sharon (Freund) LaDuke. She attended Livingston schools, graduating from Park High School in 1989. She then went on to graduate from Montana State University in 1994. Most recently Cherie worked at Summit Resources in Bozeman. She had also been employed by Big Sky Laser in Bozeman, and American Bank, and Pizza Hut in Livingston during her working career. In 2011 she married Jeff Runkel and together they welcomed their baby boy, Cody LaDuke Runkel in February 2012.
Along with her love of her husband and son, Cherie also loved animals, especially their dog, Kurt.
Cherie, a loving wife and mother, is survived by her husband, Jeff, and son, Cody; her parents, Kerry and Sharon (Freund) LaDuke; siblings, Karen and Allen LaDuke; as well as numerous other relatives.
If so desired, memorials for Cherie may be directed to the Cody LaDuke Runkel Fund at Sky Federal Credit Union, 111 N. B St., Livingston, MT 59047, or to the charity of the donor's choice.

My thoughts and prayer go out to her family. I only remember her from 25+ years ago when we dated in high school. I have never forgotten her and never will.

Please accept my concolences on Sherri's passing. This is a shock to everyone. My father was quite close to her and Ron during the last years of his life. They were very helpful to him during a difficult time period, so much gratitude goes to both of them as well.

I did not personally know Cherie,however I worked with her father on the railroad and enjoyed and respected the time spent working together. The Laduke family is well respected and I have them in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Cherie for the first time at the recent SRI/Caterpillar meeting in Las Vegas. What a nice lady! This is a shock, another of life's surprises. Having not lost a spouse or child, I cannot imagine what you are going through. My deepest condolences to your family.
