Everett Embs Obituary
Pendleton
Everett "Buck" J. Embs passed away Nov. 28, 2024. He was born Aug. 11, 1930 in Palmer, Ky. to the late GC and Maud (Horn) Embs. He is also preceded in death by the mother of his children; Diana Jean Oldham Embs, wife; Jeanne M. (Farmer) Embs; and longtime friend; Brenda Gaugh.
Buck is survived by his children; Wanda Metts, Kaye Sapp, Eugene Embs, Rick Embs, Mark Embs and Wayne Embs (Kay), 17 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following at Smithfield Cemetery in Smithfield, Ky.
Buck was a member of Sulphur Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving father, pawpaw and friend.
