Mr. Jeffrey Paul Conway, 46 years old, passed away in his sleep peacefully and unexpectedly early Sunday morning at his home. Paul and his wife Tessa, family and friends knew him best as Paul Conway.
Paul was born on December 30, 1977 in Butte, MT. Paul is the beloved son of Jeff and Theresa Conway and son-in-law of Lori Gaugler.
On September 9, 2023, Paul married Tessa Hajek and resided in Montana City, Montana. Paul enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his brother on the trails and roads of Montana. He loved camping, fishing, and being with friends. He loved spending time with his family and friends most of all. Paul opened his heart and loved his wife and best friend Tessa, and Grandma Cleo. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and as a man of kind
ness, honesty and with a matter-of-fact attitude. We all love him so much and we will miss him every day.
Paul is survived by his wife, Tessa; son, Jacob Conway, of whom is stationed out of Sasebo, Japan. Paul was so proud of his son and his accomplishments and loved him dearly.
Paul is also survived by his brother, Kris (Wilma) and their son, Kaden Miller; uncle, Jay Conway, Dennis Mercer, George Mercer and Steve Trevzger; aunts, Jan, Ginger, and Char Conway, Grace Trevzger, Kelly Mercer, and Fran Mercer; grandmother, Madylyn and John Thomson; as well as Paul's aunt Anna and uncle Tim Russell of Butte, MT, along with Paul's sisters-in-law and husbands, Shelby and Trevor Armes, Brooke and Justin Causey, Amanda and Cody Christians and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by his grandparents, Yolanda Johnson, Ellen Conway, Richard Mercer, uncles, Jack and Jim Conway, and John Ballard of Whitehall, MT.
The families would like to send a huge Thank You to the EMT's and the Jefferson County Sheriff's office for their compassion and empathy that was shown. It was very much appreciated on such a devastating day.
Families and friends are invited to a Celebration of Paul's life at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Boulder, MT on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM. The celebration will be catered by the Montana City Hardware Café. Please bring lots of conversation and memories as they will be greatly appreciated.
