its the end of an era, bob a homegrown helena character has moved on ! Bob and i had many adventures together. Many days skiingn at great divide and all over the west ! And of course many meetings and meals ! The coney island, the old windbag on friday nites and we cant forget all the dairy queen, parrot and the big dipper visits ! Bob was like a burnt marshmellow, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside ! He helped many strugglers with advice and meals, he was generous with them and sincere in his efforts to help! I am going to miss him but happy with all the memories over the last 30 plus years ! We love you Bob as george mccauley would say , ya done good !

My prayers and thoughts are with the extended Hollow Family with Bob's passing. I had spent some great times with Bob and John as toddlers when they lived on Jefferson Street, just east and south of his current Ming address. John Andrew had reach out to me earlier this week with the sad news. Having spent my first 21yrs at 4 Olive and with my parents living there until 1993, I had the opportunity to share some time intermittently with Bob, after I moved to Milwaukee in 1964. Great guy and wonderful family!
