Spencer Taylor Buchanan
Nov. 15, 2022 – Dec. 21, 2022
Our little angel, Spencer Taylor Buchanan, was born on November 15, 2022, and earned his heavenly angel wings on December 21, 2022. Though we were blessed with him for such a short time he brought such an enormous amount of joy, love and hope to his family. Especially his parents, Erika Hamper and Jaden Buchanan. Spencer was a beautiful combination of his parents. When he was born, he weighed 6 lbs., 5 oz. the exact same as his mama when she was born and at 19 inches long was the same length as his daddy when he was born. He had his mama's lips and chin and his daddy's eyes and little button nose. Spencer was such a snuggle bug. His favorite places to snuggle were on his mama's chest with his head resting in the crook of her neck and his daddy's arms. He was so loved by his entire family. Spencer's shining light of love and innocence will forever remain in our hearts and prayers.
He was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, Deloris Kershaw (GG), Henry "Hank" Bushnell, Mel Kershaw; great grandfather, David Rankin; and his namesake, great-great-uncle, Spencer Bushnell. He is survived by his parents, Erika Hamper and Jaden Buchanan; grandparents: Samantha and Chad Smith, and Rocky and Danielle Hamper, Lacey Howard and Sean Buchanan. He is also survived by his aunts: Kylee Hamper and Freya Smith; and uncles: Lowek Vonada, Rory Hamper, Kindrek Hamper, Terrin Buchanan, Jeremiah Foster, Kale Buchanan; great-grandparents, Shanna and Bill Semmens, Lisa Hamper and Dan Hamper, Renee Strom, Donald and Charlene Howard and Marla Worley; and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins not listed here.
A private family service has taken place. Memorial gifts in honor of Spencer can be made to the Ramsey Keller Memorial or the Lewis & Clark Humane Society.
Tears
"If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven, and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know." - Author Unknown.
There Is A Special Angel
"There is a special Angel in Heaven; that is part of me. It is not where I wanted him but where God wanted him to be. He was here but just a moment like a night time shooting star. And though he is in Heaven he isn't very far. He touched the heart of many like only an Angel can do. So I send this special message to the Heaven up above. Please take care of my Angel and send him all my love." -Author Unknown.
