Stephen John Pfleiger
September 11, 1952 - July 5, 2022
HELENA - Stephen John Pfleiger of Helena, Montana passed away on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. He was 69 years old.
Stephen was born on September 11th, 1952 in Garrison, North Dakota to Steve and Esther. He was one of 15 children in the Pfleiger household and the family lived in various small towns throughout North Dakota. Stephen was drafted into the Army and served for two years during the Vietnam War. After leaving the Army, he moved to Minot, North Dakota and worked as a carpenter with his brother, Dennis. Stephen went to work in the oil field in the 1980s in North Dakota, Montana, and Louisiana. He eventually retired to Montana in 2010.
Stephen is survived by his children, Stephen Jay Pfleiger of Louisiana, Justin Pfleiger of Georgia, and David Pfleiger of Georgia.
