Barbara A. Cassady

BARBARA A. CASSADY, 82 of Barboursville, WV passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Paramount Senior Living in Ona, WV.
There will be a graveside service conducted on her behalf at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Woodmere Memorial Park with Jeff and David Sizemore officiating.
Barbara was born in Huntington, WV on April 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Homer and Pearl Frye.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William (Bill) Cassady; a daughter, Debra Ann McGuier; a sister, Brenda Hall (Charles) all of Barboursville, WV; and a brother Gerald Frye (Sharon) of Milton, WV.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Sizemore (Jeff) of Proctorville, OH; grandchildren, Amber Pemberton (Daniel) of South Point, OH; David Sizemore (Laura), of Beckley, WV; Alexis Bowe (Mike) of Louisville, KY; Bria McKee (Sam) of Flatwoods, Ky; William Fenton of Wilmington, NC. Barbara also had 10 beautiful great grandchildren; Marley, Remy, Austin, Addy, River, Caleb, Mercy, Cross, River & Hazel. Other close family members include a sister-in-law, Linda Adkins; a brother-in-law, Wilford Dale Poston (Anna) both of Barboursville, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Barbara was a member of the Roach Baptist Church and a graduate of Barboursville High School.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Paramount Senior Living and the Hospice House for their excellent care they administered to Barbara while she was living.
There will be no public visitation.
Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville is in charge of the arrangements.
