Carl Cremeans Obituary

CARL EUGENE CREMEANS, 74, of Huntington, WV, left this world Tuesday, June 3, 2025, to be reunited with his wife Lana. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2025, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Huntington.
Carl was born August 25, 1950, in Huntington, WV, the only child of the late Russell and Myrtle (Dial) Cremeans. He was a retired over-the-road truck driver.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Lana Sue Cremeans. Carl and Lana traveled extensively across America, fishing and enjoying their time traveling together... but both agreed that Florida held their fondest memories.
Carl earned numerous awards for his safe driving, having logged well over a million miles of accident-free miles. Carl retired from driving to care for his beloved wife after her health declined due to her illness, and stayed by her side constantly, stating that his life stopped the moment that Lana's life ended.
Survivors include cousins, Steve Cremeans (Kathy) of Grand Forks, ND, Judy Cremeans Adkins, and Lynn Clagg (Steve) of Proctorville, OH.
Friends may call from Noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service.
