Carrie Reynolds Obituary


CARRIE JUNE REYNOLDS, 79, of Proctorville, OH, died Wednesday May 15, 2024, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday May 18, 2024, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Elder Jody Thompson officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
Carrie was born March 4, 1945, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Don and Alma Clark Adkins.
She retired from One Valley Bank and was a member of the Philadelphia United Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Brown and one brother, Don Adkins Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Reynolds, two daughters, Angelia (Roger) Thompson of Lavalette, WV and Amy (Aristotle) Lysandrou of Hurricane, WV; six grandchildren, Carrie Ann (Kyle) Perry, Emily (Alex) Elkins, Kaylee Thompson, Yianni, Zacharias and Ellinas Lysandrou, three great-grandchildren, Carson, Allie June and Eva; one sister, Janice (Steve) Mankin of Ona, WV and one brother, Tom Adkins of Salt Rock, WV.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.chapmans-mortuary.com.
